Don’t worry: our team in Paris know beautiful locations near the Eiffel Tower where you can celebrate your ceremony away from the tourists.

To get the best of the Eiffel Tower you can choose to celebrate your love very close to the monument itself, by a small lake on a mount overlooking the world-famous landmark, or set your ceremony on the river bank opposite the tower. These are all stunning settings for your vows, and create great picture and video backdrops for this special day.

The tower is surrounded by beautiful gardens known as the Champ de Mars; a charming, verdant setting that our clients love.  And if you want a destination wedding with family and guests the lovely expansive lawns are just made for a nice group to gather and create beautiful photographic and video memories.

One of the most known area for a great wedding in Paris. Are you looking for a regal wedding ceremony? Then, the Luxembourg Gardens might provide you with what you want and more! A romantic, whimsical spot in Paris that will transport you to the time of princesses and knights for your elopement, destination wedding, or vow renewal.

The Luxembourg Gardens, located at Paris’ heart, are known for their peaceful atmosphere. It’s the «central park» of Paris. So, quite naturally, this is one of the places that Love Gracefully chooses to celebrate Love! So, whether you want to elope or renew your vows, the tranquility of the Luxembourg Gardens will provide the intimacy you are looking for in your precious ceremony.

The Luxembourg Gardens offer much more for your special day. The park is the perfect location for a wedding photo at Boboli Gardens in Florence, it’s inspired this park inspired by the Boboli Gardens in Florence, Italy. You’ll find a lot of beautiful statues, such as the twenty figures of French queens and illustrious women standing on pedestals all around the central green area. All of those statues were commissioned in 1848 by Louis-Philippe! If you prefer your wedding photos shot in front of men statues, do not worry; another 86 figures are spread around the gardens.

Whether you want to elope or renew your vows in Paris, there are many other areas of the Luxembourg Gardens to have your ceremony. We have shortlisted two of them, curated with our expertise and experience, successfully organizing weddings in Paris for over 15 years.

The first is the famous Medici Fountain, named after Catherine the Medicis. In front is a vast water basin surrounded by beautiful plane trees that form an arch. Because it’s a very touristy area, we usually have the ceremony right below the statue and not in front of the water basin because that’s where all the tourists go. But don’t worry, you can have pictures done in front of the basin after the ceremony! That Medici Fountain spot is recommended if you are only 2 or 3 all together, as it’s a very intimate location, ideal for elopements or vow renewals.

The second location is on the terraces that oversea the Luxembourg Garden Palace. You’ll have a full view over the Palace and the entire garden, the octagonal basin of water, the flowers and some statues. That location is recommended if you are a group of 4 to 15, perfect for Paris destination weddings, but it also works well if it’s only the 2 of you.

Would you like your destination wedding or elopement photos to be taken in front of the French Senate in the Luxembourg Gardens? You’ll definitely get a Versailles Palace feeling, since the French Senate was built by Marie de Medicis, wife of French King Henri IV as a palace.

It was Marie de Medicis herself who created these beautiful gardens. That’s why you’ll have a special feeling here: a sense of being queen and king of your vows ceremony! You can also take pictures in front of the large octagonal water basin, with its central fountain and terraces that oversea the Palace. If you prefer flora and greenery, there is an orchard of apple and pear trees surrounded by beautiful flowers, and the famous Luxembourg Rose Garden.

We know some couples would like to have a religious wedding, and sometimes can be hard to find a church overseas. At Love Gracefully is essential to make sure you have a ceremony that speaks to your soul, including your faith. That’s why we are delighted to offer the American Church in Paris as one of our wedding locations in Paris.

The American Church in Paris is located in the seventh district (arrondissement in French), central and close to all the iconic locations. On top of the building’s beauty and history, hundreds of restaurants and hotels are nearby to host you or your guests in case of any.

It was the first American church established on foreign soil. The American Church is an inter-denominational, Protestant congregation with roots dating back to 1814, when American Protestants living in France sought a place to worship God in their native English language. Nowadays, the American Church in Paris is the only church in the city where you can have your religious wedding in English.

So, it’s essential to know that because Love Gracefully’s celebrants are not priests, your wedding ceremony will be held by one of the American church’s experienced pastors, not one of Love Gracefully’s officiants. Yet, Love Gracefully will take care of all the other services included in your wedding package; photographer, videographer, car, flowers, etc. The religious officiant of the American Church will help you plan the service with some flexibility and personalization. Family members and friends are also welcome to participate in the service through a reading or a musical number.

As the American church is a private location, external to our services, it has an extra fee to our package price. That extra fee will need to be paid directly to the American church. Please check with us for availabilities and costs.

The Chapelle Expiatoire is a chapel located in the eighth arrondissement of Paris, which is very central.

This chapel is dedicated to King Louis XVI and his queen, Marie Antoinette, but most importantly, it belongs to the French state, not the church. Because of that, it’s the only place in Paris where you can have a ceremony in a Chapelle. No other Paris church allows elopements for foreigners, partly because the French priests don’t speak English. But, by having your wedding in The Chapelle Expiatoire, you will enjoy the exquisite beauty of this pinnacle of great church architecture with a secular service that’s personal to your own shared history.

The Chapelle Expiatoire also allows us to enact services in any of the world’s faiths.

If you want a Paris destination wedding for your friends and family, Wedding Ceremonies at the chapel allow up to a hundred guests to attend.

The acoustics are excellent, and warmly amplifies the sound of the celebrants or the musicians.

Another big advantage of the Chapelle Expiatoire is that your guests will be able to enjoy your blessing ceremony sitting down. That might be what you’d expect, – the bare minimum you’d think – but you have to remember we often work outdoors in public gardens where bringing chairs into a public park is not allowed. So if you have elderly guests attending your destination wedding, or anyone who just prefers to be seated, a ceremony at the Chapelle Expiatoire is a great solution.

Once the ceremony is over, you can enjoy having your champagne or taking pictures in the garden of the Chapelle. (Drinking champagne inside the Chapelle is not allowed.) The garden of the Chapelle is filled with beautiful roses that add to the romantic charm of the venue.

Getting married at the Chapelle Expiatoire might have extra fees, and needs to be booked in advance. Don’t hesitate to ask for more information.

-Can we get married in Notre Dame de Paris ?

Unfortunately the answer is no, Notre Dame de Paris is a catholic Cathedral, the process to have the authorization is very difficult and a preparation during several months is mandatory. If you would like a Church we advise to read the details about American Church, in the previous paragraph

-Can we get married in Sainte Chapelle Paris ?

Same answer as the previous one, the Sainte Chapelle is open to the public as a museum.. Our answer for a very intimate chapelle is to rent the Chapelle Expiatoire
