#1: Wedding in Dublin’s Phoenix Park

Phoenix Park is one of the largest enclosed public parks in any of Europe’s capital cities.

It’s home to Áras an Uachtaráin (the Irish President’s residence and workplace, Ireland’s version of The White House),  Dublin Zoo and the People’s Gardens. Phoenix Park is a massive, stunningly beautiful site with large herds of fallow deer roaming freely.

#2 Eloping to the cliffs of Bray Head

Beneath the turrets of Kilkenny Castle, and lulled by the sound of its timeless waters,, this scenic riverbank combines history and nature. Right in the center of the Medieval City of Kilkenny this spot is ideal for intimate exchange of vows.

#4 Marriage under the Tower in Glendalough

The spectacular round tower in Glendalough is around 1000 years old and was built by the monks of St Kevin who came here in the 6th century. Situated in Wicklow’s national park, and surrounded by mountains, lakes, rivers and wildlife, the magic of this ancient place awaits you. Celebrating your marriage here where the stones are soaked in history is a most memorable and enchanting experience. #5 Saying ‘Yes’ at Johnstown Castle

Does your dream of an Irish wedding seem to take place in a majestic castle? Travel to Wexford and say yes in this unique indoor venue. It’s a gem of gothic revivalist architecture, overlooking  lawns adorned with peacocks and a lake where swans glide peacefully by.

#6 Saltee Islands

For a ceremony in one of Ireland’s most important conservation centres take a short boat ride from Kilmore Quay Harbor to The Saltee Islands, situated off the south coast of Ireland. This uninhabited island group boasts seals, puffins, and is a haven of tranquility for a meaningful ceremony that satisfies our need to say important things in a natural setting

#7 Hook Lighthouse

The world’s oldest working lighthouse has stood as a beacon for seafarers since the 6th century. The area below the lighthouse is an exciting place for ceremonies that celebrate our relationship with the elements, with its stunning cliffs and spectacular ocean waves crashing onto the rocks below. There is a wild and wonderful feeling of freedom that energises this shoreline and brings your adventurous side to life.

#8 Curracloe Beach, Co. Wexford

This golden beach, famous for its soft fine sand, stretches for miles and offers a wonderfully natural spot for your vows, with the sky as your cathedral and the song of the surf as your choir. The opening scenes of the Hollywood movie ‘Saving Private Ryan’ were filmed here by Stephen Spielberg.

#9 St. Stephens Green in the heart of Dublin

A Victorian park with landscaped gardens, bandstands, bridges and a lake, St Stephens Green is an unexpected oasis of calm right in the bustling center of Dublin. It has a number of important sculptural monuments to Irish history and is also home to many species of birds and wildlife. It’s one of our favourite places for Dublin Elopements, Vow Renewals and Destination Weddings.
