Don’t worry: our team in Paris know beautiful locations near the Eiffel Tower where you can celebrate your ceremony away from the tourists.

To get the best of the Eiffel Tower you can choose to celebrate your love very close to the monument itself, by a small lake on a mount overlooking the world-famous landmark, or set your ceremony on the river bank opposite the tower. These are all stunning settings for your vows, and create great picture and video backdrops for this special day.

The tower is surrounded by beautiful gardens known as the Champ de Mars; a charming, verdant setting that our clients love. And if you want a big wedding with family and guests the lovely expansive lawns are just made for a nice group to gather and create beautiful photographic and video memories.

PALAIS ROYAL

Notre Dame Cathedral  is one of the most iconic examples of French Gothic architecture and one of the iconic monuments in Paris . Known for its impressive size, stunning stained glass windows, and detailed sculptures, the cathedral also houses many significant religious artifacts, including the Crown of Thorns. Notre Dame has been the site of many historical events, such as the coronation of Napoleon Bonaparte. Although it suffered significant damage during a fire in April 2019, restoration efforts are ongoing to restore this masterpiece to its former glory.

Now we are very excited to say we know the reopening date of Notre Dame Cathedral, December 8, 2024. We are resuming reservations for ceremonies at Notre Dame.

We offer 2 locations to carry out the ceremony: either from the river bank allowing you to have a view of the magnificent southern part, this also allows you to see the Seine and the banks, or from the gardens located at the back on Ile Saint Louis.

If you are ever hesitant, know that we can take couple photos from the dock and do the ceremony in the garden and vice versa.

We know some couples would like to have a religious wedding, and sometimes can be hard to find a church overseas. At Love Gracefully is essential to make sure you have a ceremony that speaks to your soul, including your faith. That’s why we are delighted to offer this venue in Paris as one of our wedding locations in Paris.

It is located in the seventh district (arrondissement in French), central and close to all the iconic locations. On top of the building’s beauty and history, hundreds of restaurants and hotels are nearby to host you or your guests in case of any.

It was the first American church established on foreign soil. It is an inter-denominational, Protestant congregation with roots dating back to 1814, when American Protestants living in France sought a place to worship God in their native English language. Nowadays, the Church in Paris is the only church in the city where you can have your religious wedding in English.

So, it’s essential to know that because Love Gracefully’s celebrants are not priests, your wedding ceremony will be held by one of the American church’s experienced pastors, not one of Love Gracefully’s officiants. Yet, Love Gracefully will take care of all the other services included in your wedding package; parisian photographers and videographer, car, flowers, etc. The religious officiant will help you plan the service with some flexibility and personalization. Family members and friends are also welcome to participate in the service through a reading or a musical number.

It is a chapel located in the eighth arrondissement of Paris, which is very central.

This chapel is dedicated to King Louis XVI and his queen, Marie Antoinette, but most importantly, it belongs to the French state, not the church. Because of that, it’s the only place in Paris where you can have a ceremony in a Chapelle. No other Paris church allows weddings for foreigners, partly because the French priests don’t speak English. But, by having your wedding here, you will enjoy the exquisite beauty of this pinnacle of great church architecture with a secular service that’s personal to your own shared history.

The Chapelle Expiatoire also allows us to enact services in any of the world’s faiths.

If you want a Paris destination wedding for your friends and family, Wedding Ceremonies at the chapel allow up to a hundred guests to attend.

The acoustics are excellent, and warmly amplifies the sound of the celebrants or the musicians.

Another big advantage of the Chapelle is that your guests will be able to enjoy your blessing ceremony sitting down. That might be what you’d expect, – the bare minimum you’d think – but you have to remember we often work outdoors in public gardens where bringing chairs into a public park is not allowed. So if you have elderly guests attending your destination wedding, or anyone who just prefers to be seated, a ceremony at the Chapelle Expiatoire is a great solution.

Once the ceremony is over, you can enjoy having your champagne or taking pictures in the garden of the Chapelle. (Drinking champagne inside the Chapelle is not allowed.) The garden of the Chapelle is filled with beautiful roses that add to the romantic charm of the venue.

-Can we get married in Notre Dame de Paris ?

Unfortunately the answer is no “inside”, Notre Dame de Paris is a catholic Cathedral, the process to have the authorization is very difficult and a preparation during several months is mandatory. The other solution is to do the ceremony in front of the cathedral, as explained in the paragraph about Notre Dame If you would like to get married inside a Church, we advise to read the details about American Church, in the previous paragraph

-Can we get married in Sainte Chapelle Paris ?

Same answer as the previous one, the Sainte Chapelle is open to the public as a museum.. Our answer for a very intimate chapelle is to rent the Chapelle Expiatoire
