Paola was PHENOMENAL! She went above and beyond and even helped me plan a couple things not involved with our ceremony (hotel, restaurant and bakery suggestions/reservations since we knew nothing about the area); she also helped me set up transportation a few days after our ceremony to get to the cruise ship port which was actually complicated (we needed a ferry and then also a taxi). On the day of the ceremony, we had Valentina as a videographer and Selina as the officiant. Paola was also the photographer, I can’t wait to see the finished media!

We completely understand your concern about the possibility of rain when planning a wedding in Rome. Since our ceremonies take place outdoors, we’ve gained a lot of experience managing weather-related challenges—after more than 400 ceremonies, here’s what we’ve learned:

Weather forecasts are often unreliable, especially days in advance.

The best approach is to wait until 48 to 24 hours before the ceremony to make any final decisions.

We always have a Plan B—a beautiful, sheltered location ready in case of rain.

If it’s just a light shower, we can usually wait for it to pass.

In case of severe weather, and if our vendors and officiant are available, we’re flexible and can try to reschedule the ceremony for later the same day or another day.

As we mention on our website, our ceremonies are purely symbolic, meaning they do not carry any legal value.
That said, Italy is one of the few European countries where foreigners can have a legally recognized civil ceremony. This process is not included in our packages but can be handled by a specialist who will take care of booking the city hall and managing all paperwork, translations, and administrative steps on your behalf.
