CEREMONY IN LAKE COMO
Lake-Como is surrounded by dreamy little towns that date back to Roman times. The town of Como itself was founded in 196 BC, and its beautiful villas and palaces on the water’s edge make the city one of the most exclusive and classy places in the entire Lombardy region.
Bellagio is another famous town in the area due to its stunning location in the very center of Lake Como. Its quaint corners and narrow streets are charming locations for you to celebrate your wedding privately, or it can also become the perfect starting point to have the greatest of adventures visiting the entire region and with your family and friends.
Nor should we forget places like Menaggio with its medieval atmosphere, where the ruins of the ancient castle are wonderfully preserved; or, of course, Varenna, a magical place between the lake and the mountains, with walkways over the water and lush forests straight out of a fairy tale.

Lake Como wedding packages start at €990 for the Basic package (ceremony and officiant only). Our popular Silver package costs €1,945 and includes 1 hour of professional photography, a bouquet, and a ceremony at iconic locations like Varenna’s lakeside, Bellagio gardens, or Menaggio’s scenic views.
The Gold package (€3,280) adds 3 hours of photography and a 1-hour private boat tour with Prosecco for the quintessential Como experience, while the Diamond package (€5,390) includes both 3 hours of photography and videography to capture your cinematic wedding film on the water. For the ultimate luxury elopement, our Infinity package starts at €10,100 and includes 2 nights in a luxury villa, private chef dinner for 2, 4 hours each of photo and video coverage, private boat tour, and professional hair/makeup artist.
Note: Private villas and venues often have additional rental fees starting from €1,500-4,000. Some historic villas allow photography but require specific permits for ceremonies. Most couples choose the Gold or Diamond packages for the perfect balance of a private boat tour and full media coverage!

If the weather is bad, we will assess different options together. If all vendors and you are available, we can change the day or time of the ceremony. If rescheduling is not possible or the weather doesn’t allow it, each location has a backup plan, and we provide beautiful transparent umbrellas for the ceremony and photos.
Normally, three hours are enough. They cover the ceremony, the celebrations, couple photos, photos with guests (if present), and the boat tour. If you’d like preparation photos or photos at other locations, extra hours can be added to the package (see Extra pdf).
We have various types of boats, motorboat or venetian boat, depending on the ceremony location and availability. The photographer or videographer will board the boat to capture these wonderful moments.
Certainly, you can bring as many guests as you wish to celebrate your wedding. Please note that in the included locations, the maximum number of guests is 15 due to space limitations (20 for the Infinity), and remember that they will need to stand during the ceremony. If you would like more guests, I suggest renting a private location, which will require an additional charge for the rental. Managing additional guests (more than 15) involves an extra fee (see Extra pdf).
We recommend booking at least 6-12 months in advance, especially for peak season (May-September). This gives us time to secure your preferred date, locations, and vendors. However, we can also accommodate last-minute bookings depending on availability.
Lake Como is beautiful year-round, but the most popular seasons are spring (April-June) and autumn (September-October) when the weather is mild and the scenery is stunning. Summer (July-August) offers warm weather and longer days, perfect for boat rides and outdoor ceremonies. Winter can be magical with fewer tourists and a romantic atmosphere, though it’s cooler.
We work closely with you to select venues that match your preferences and vision. Our Lake Como destinations include iconic locations like Villa Olmo, Parco Olivelli, Bellagio, Varenna, and many other stunning lakeside spots. Each offers unique and picturesque settings for your ceremony, whether public or private.
Certainly, the text of the ceremony is fully customizable. After the confirmation, we will send you a questionnaire, and your responses will help us write your ceremony script.

The ceremony turned out BEAUTIFULLY! The location was perfect, early morning at Saint Mark's square. The officiant was kind and well-spoken, she gave our ceremony in English but also included beautiful parts in Italian.

Certainly, our officiant can personalize the ceremony with Catholic content, but please note that they are not a priest. If you prefer a church ceremony, it is only possible in an Anglican church, where we can still make the ceremony as Catholic as possible. Please remember that only Anglican priests are authorized to officiate outside of a church.
We prefer to continue via email, so we have a record of all the information we exchange. However, if you feel the need or would like to have a Zoom call to discuss details, we’re more than happy to accommodate.
Before the event, we will ask you to send us reference photos of how you would like your makeup and hairstyle.
Live music is not allowed in the included locations, but we usually provide music through a speaker. Live music is only allowed at private locations, and the cost depends on the type of instrument and the duration.
We do not have a predefined package, as the price depends on the type of flowers you want, their seasonality, and the type of decoration you choose. We usually ask you to send reference photos, and we will request a quote for you.
We will ask you to send us photos of what you want, and our florist will try to create it as closely as possible using the flowers available during that period. The classic bouquet is included, and any special shapes (e.g., cascading) will incur an additional cost.

We do not propose that service in our packages. As you can see all over our website is that we propose ceremonies that are purely symbolic, with no legal values. However, there is a reason for that: when non-italian couples realise what it takes to get legally married in Italy, 99% of them back off. Getting legally married in Italy for non-Italian citizens is possible but very complex, costly and lengthy. Complex because you need to deal not with one administrations but two. The Italian one and the administration of your country (via your embassy or embassies if your couple is from different countries): not only the paper work asked by both administrations is endless but it needs to all be translated in Italian. That leads to the cost issue: all this work is complex and needs a fixer that, also, acts as a translator both for the paper work but also during the ceremony to translate what the mayor is saying which means extra costs to pay that fixer, on top of all the extra costs from both administrations, rent of the city hall, etc…Last but not least: the lengthy part: all this is time consuming and can be frustrating because none of these administrations work together meaning no one can commit on a specific date to which the paper work is done. Count an average of 3 months minimum to be on the safe side. So, one need to be very patient dealing with the entire process. You can now easily see why we always suggest to our couples to do all the paper work at home, in their own language, with their own administration and come to Italy only to celebrate their love in a symbolic way. However, despite all this, would you still want to get legally married in Italy, it’s possible. For that we have a fixer that we outsource. Please let us know if you would want us to put you in contact with her. Her fees and the administration fees vary depending in which city your choose, so we can not say in advance how much they are. Those fees are not included in our package price.
The payment is divided into 3 installments (4 for the Infinity package). The first payment is a deposit to confirm your interest in our services. The second payment is requested after we send you the ceremony script for revision and the provisional timeline. These two payments are required via credit card. The final payment will be due on the wedding day in cash.
The getting ready will take place directly at your accommodation (hotel, Airbnb, or other lodging).
Transportation is not included, but we can arrange it depending on the distance and the number of people. We can provide you with a customized quote. Please keep in mind that taxis and Ubers are not easy to find around the lake. We always suggest to rent a car.
You will receive approximately 150–300 high-resolution images, depending on the package and duration of the coverage. All delivered images will be professionally edited to ensure the best quality. The videographer will create a highlight video of approximately 3-5 minutes, capturing the most memorable moments of your day, including the ceremony, celebrations, and any additional moments as per the timeline.
You can add a cake only if a lunch or dinner is planned at a restaurant, or with a private chef in your apartment.
Yes, it is possible. The organization and costs depend on whether you want a private reception at an exclusive location or if you’re happy for us to recommend a good restaurant nearby (with other diners). If you’d like our help with the booking, an additional fee will apply.
