An Intimate Elopement on Alpe di Siusi in the Dolomites

A First Look on the Alpe di Siusi Plateau

Our couple chose the Alpe di Siusi plateau for the same reason they chose the Dolomites: a place where they could be together without an audience. Both are introverted, and they wanted an Alpe di Siusi elopement that felt intimate and unhurried.

Their first look took place among the wide green meadows, in soft morning light, with the peaks of the Dolomites rising in the distance.

For couples who would like a similar setting, our Dolomites elopement packages can be designed around this plateau.

An Intimate Ceremony on the Alpe di Siusi Plateau

With no guests and only a celebrant, the ceremony took place across the open meadows of the Alpe di Siusi, with the Dolomites rising around them. It was the quiet, uncrowded setting they had hoped for.

Both had written their own vows for the day, and the celebrant guided them through a ceremony built around their story. Before their first kiss, the couple added a simple tying-the-knot moment of their own, a gesture that felt entirely theirs.

The photographs show the elopement ceremony at its most natural: rings exchanged in the grass, hands held, and the wide green plateau stretching out behind them.

Portraits Among the Alpine Meadows

After the ceremony, the couple took time to explore the plateau at their own pace. Their portraits were taken on a wooden balcony and along a gravel path, with soft light falling across the meadows and the mountains behind them.

The result is a set of relaxed mountain elopement photos that show the day as it was: quiet, personal and unhurried.

Couples planning a similar day in South Tyrol can explore our elopement packages in Italy, from intimate elopements to vow renewals.
