Pierre, Founder, director and celebrant in Spain
Pierre is Love Gracefully founder. French national, he is also the leading celebrant in Spain. He is in charge to create the perfect ceremony that will meet your values and beliefs. He celebrated hundreds of wedding ceremonies through his career, each one unique in its own way. He was pioneer in creating destination weddings in Spain. Be assured that Pierre and his team will cater for your needs, no matter what it is you are seeking to arrange, and where you wish it to happen. « Even though I am french, I must say that I moved permanently to Spain! I had a great life in Paris but in 2016, I moved the entire office to Barcelona. The sun, the warmth, the sea, the tranquility that Spain offers was very attractive and don’t regret it at all. I now live in Sitges with my wife and baby girl where I enjoy a type of life that I always looked for: easy-going but business orientated, nature and city, sea and mountain, sun and warm hearted people. That’s the type of energy I am bringing in each wedding I prepare. » Pierre

FAQ about a destination wedding in Spain
Would you absolutely want a religious ceremony in Barcelona, Sitges, Seville or Madrid, we could direct you to a local church. It’s very complex and rare as many European priests do not speak English. Our suggestion would be that, if you want a religious ceremony in Spain, to let us, at Love Gracefully, create a spiritual ceremony that includes your religious beliefs. That way, you have both sides: a spiritual destination wedding that incorporates your religious beliefs in an exquisite spanish outdoor location such in a gothic park in Barcelona, in front of the sea in Sitges, in a rose garden in Madrid or Plaza Espana in Seville.
- Since we work mainly outdoors we take that issue very seriously.
- Weather forecasts are not very accurate, so no need to overreact. We use them but we use our brain too.
- Best to wait 48 hours to 24 hours before D-day to make a final call on what to do; not need to check the weather forecast a week before.
- We have a plan B in Barcelona, Sitges, Seville or Madrid, protected from the rain, ready to go.
- If it rains a little bit we can wait for it to stop.
- If the weather gets extremely bad and our vendors are available, we are flexible and we can try to move the ceremony to another time in the day. Only if vendors and officiant are available.
Having said all that, people in Spain are not shy about wearing colours. So, depending on the time of the year, the city you choose in Spain, your mood, one dress could work better than another one. So, don’t hesitate to contact our coordinator for Spain: Lorena can tell you what’s the trend now!
